The 2010 McClatchy Co. President’s Award
Part of a team that was awarded The McClatchy Company’s top award for reporting excellence, presented for articles covering the 2009 murder of four Lakewood, Wash., police officers.
The 2006 Betty Gage Holland Memorial Award
National investigative reporting award from the Cox Institute in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. Gave a presentation on investigative reporting at national conference when receiving the award.
Society of Professional Journalists
First place for investigative reporting from the Inland Northwest Chapter in 2005.
Third place for in-depth reporting in 2005 and second place for breaking news reporting in 2007 from Region 10.
